Microsoft – Mail App

Important Notice

  1. Any reference to YourEmailAddress@cornerstone.ac.za should be replaced with the e-mail address that was sent to you.
  2. You will find your password in the same document.
  3. If you have not received your details, please check your Junk mail folder first and then log a call with funda@cornerstone.ac.za.
  4. Please note:  To use Windows Mail you have to link a Microsoft account with the app.  You can setup an account at Microsoft Account Login.  Follow the link below the login.

Procedure

  1. Open Mail for Windows
    startmail
  2. Select IMAP and then click ‘Connect.’

  3. Enter your Cornerstone email details and click ‘Connect.’

  4. At the next screen fill in the additional information required and click ‘Connect.’
    1. Username:  YourEmailAddress@cornerstone.ac.za
    2. Incoming Server email server:  imap.gmail.com
    3. Outgoing (SMTP) email server:  smtp.gmail.com

  5. Afterwards you will be presented with the Windows Mail interface.
