Important Notice

1. Any reference toYourEmailAddress@cornerstone.ac.za should be replaced with the e-mail address that was sent to you.
2. You will find your password in the same document.
3. If you have not received your details, please check your Junk mail folder first and then log a call with funda@cornerstone.ac.za
4. Google App Sync is a business application supplied by Google.  Therefore, Google App Sync will only sync with your Cornerstone Email address and not ordinary Gmail accounts.

Procedure

1. Download the Google App Sync from the Google App Sync website.
2. Run the installer and accept the security warnings.
   
3. Allow for the installation process to finish.
   
4. Enter your email address at the next prompt and click ‘Continue.’
   
5. Your browser will open and you will be re-directed to the Gmail login page.
6. Add your account if necessary and click ‘Next.’
   
7. Enter your password.
   
8. Change your password if prompted.
   
9. When asked for your telephone number for security purposes it is up to you whether you want to.  If you do please follow the steps.  If you decide against in, click ‘Skip.’
   
10. Allow Google App Sync to access your Cornerstone email account by clicking ‘Accept.’
    
11. You will see a confirmation message that access was granted.
    
12. You will be re-directed to Google App Sync application requesting to create a profile.  Click ‘Create Profile.’
    
13. Finish the setup by clicking ‘Start Microsoft Outlook.’
    
14. Outlook should start now and Google App Sync will complete its initial sync.  Once done, close the window.
    
15. Do not forget to close the Google App Sync installation application.
    
16. Your are done!!
